We take the sensitivity of insights into our client’s business seriously and recently applied to be Cyber Essentials certified to protect our organisation against cyber threats. Cyber Essentials was developed in collaboration with industry partners including the Information Security Forum, the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium and the British Standards Institution.
The process with Cyber Essentials helped us to ensure we have implemented protection against cyber attack. The five technical controls assessed are: Firewalls, Secure Configuration, User Access Control, Malware Protection and Patch Management. With appropriate measures implemented across each of these controls, the certification demonstrates our commitment and proactive actions against cyber threats. We appreciate that Cyber Essentials is a basic level of due diligence from which to build on and, moving forwards, we strive to continue progressing our security.
